CRI was founded by Ron DeMars to help manufacturers sell their products to both large and medium sized retailers throughout the U.S. We work with our customers to develop a deep understanding of their product, and then create opportunities with our retailers. We will continue to grow your business by adding additional retailers (if applicable) and any new products you are bringing to market.

Biographies

Ron DeMars

Founder/CEO

Ron cut his teeth in the hi-tech Industry after graduating from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota with a degree in Mathematics.Upon completion, he was immediately hired by Sperry to work on Missile computer programing. He moved on to become a Systems Analyst and worked on many classified government programs.  Ron had a Top-Secret clearance and he really enjoyed his technical career.

Ron then made a major career change and joined Data Products as an OEM salesmen selling large Line Printers to major system developers like AT&T.   He then moved on to other companies selling many OEM Products to System Developers. Ron was VP of Sales at two of these companies. 

Ron then made another major Career change 30 years ago and started the ManufacturerRep firm CRI. Throughout the years he grew CRI into one of the Nations most well-respected rep agencies through honesty, integrity, hard work and devotion to both the client, and vendor.  

Ron enjoys spending time at his cabin where he likes to fish, enjoy his off-road vehicles, spend time with his wife Karlyn, his kids, and 5 grandkids. 

Cynthia Bollig

Cynthia attended Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska with plans on becoming a surgeon. In her senior year at Creighton, she met her future husband David while both were working at Pizza Hut. Now with married life on the horizon Cynthia chose not to devote all of her time to becoming a surgeon, but instead moved into medical sales.

Cynthia enjoyed the medical industry winning many awards that allowed her to travel to some very exotic locations in Europe. Headhunters where regularly calling on her. Cynthia quickly rose to national status selling Glucose monitors and even becoming a diabetes specialist. With a keen focus on Minnesota Cynthia was quick to become the national sales leader in terms of dollars and saturation.

In 1998 Cynthia left medical sales to open Nor-Tech, a computer manufacturer with her husband David. Nor-Tech was recognized as one of the top 10 PC manufacturers in the US and was featured 3 separate years in Entrepreneur magazine’s “HOT 100” list of the fastest growing companies in the US.

In 2017 Cynthia chose to chase her dream and work with her father at CRI. Cynthia now manages the entire CRI sales team and all internal staff. Cynthia was quick to streamline many aspects of the company and even proceeded to become sales manager in 2020.

While having a distinguished career in sales her greatest accomplishments include raising 4 kids, two of them graduating from college while her younger two finish high school.

Cynthia enjoys spending time with her 4 kids/spouses, cabin life, fishing, trail riding, and working out. When Cynthia is not hard at work, she can be found up North enjoying the family and nature.

David Bollig

David attended the University of Nebraska and met his future wife Cynthia while both working at Pizza Hut. After marrying in 1990 David went on to get a degree in computer programming from Brown Institute. David chose to switch gears and started in computer peripheral sales at TMG, handling the entire state of Texas. David was a two-time Presidents Club winner, originator of the “Million Dollar” club, and a regular sales leader out of 300 professionals.

In 1998 David and his wife Cynthia founded Nor-Tech, a computer manufacturer based out of Burnsville MN. With an acute focus on Supercomputing Nor-Tech had the privilege of working with many high-level technology teams including two that went on to win Nobel prizes in Physics. After 20 years David and his wife Cynthia sold their interest in Nor-Tech to pursue other opportunities.

In 2020 David joined CRI and is now actively working on extending the reach of CRI bringing in new Merchants and Manufacturers.

David enjoys time with the family, cabin life, woodworking, fishing, trail riding, and cooking.
